The Orix Buffaloes announced the acquisition of left-hander John Koronka from the Colorado Rockies organization on Saturday.
Koronka, 27, joined the Pacific League club after posting an 8-11 record and a 6.01 earned run average in 29 games in his major league career with the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers. He has a 5-3 record in 12 Triple-A starts this year.
