The Nippon Ham Fighters said Monday that right-handed starter Brian Wolfe and infielder Micah Hoffpauir have agreed to contracts for next season.
Wolfe, who won Game 3 of the Japan Series for the Fighters, will make 150 million yen while Hoffpauir will be paid 68 million yen under their respective one-year deals.
Wolfe went 10-9 with a 2.66 ERA in 25 starts this season. Hoffpauir hit 14 home runs with 37 RBIs in 109 games. Outfielder Terrmel Sledge, who returned to the Fighters this season for the first time in three years, will not be returning.
