A high school baseball player drafted by the Seibu Lions in
November will meet with the club on Saturday for the first time since
he was suspected of driving without a license and speeding in
December.

Haruhiko Suzuki, the team's director of baseball operations,
said Wednesday that the club will interview the player and hear his
side of the incident.

The team has indicated it will delay the necessary procedures to
sign the youngster until the completion of legal proceedings.

"There will be things we won't decide after one or even two
interviews," Suzuki said.
