BayStars to sign right-hander Corcoran

The DeNA BayStars said Tuesday they have reached an agreement in
the acquisition of Atlanta Braves minor league right-hander Tim
Corcoran.

This season Corcoran, 35, has played for Triple-A Gwinnett,
where he went 3-4 with a 2.98 ERA in 10 starts. After passing a
physical, he can formally sign with the Central League club.

From 2005 to 2007, the Louisiana native went 5-9 with a 4.97 ERA
in 40 games, including 17 starts, with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
