 Final Standings - 2009

The Nippon Ham Fighters and Tokyo Yomiuri Giants, winners of their respective league's post-season Climax Series, faced off in the Japan Series.  The Giants won the best-of-seven series, four games to two, and were crowned champions for the 21st time.
